Sarah Collins ~ Haworth, West Yorkshire
Sarah began her holistic therapy career over twenty years ago. After taking PTLLS at level 4, she combined her therapy work with teaching for London Therapists, Yorkshire Massage & Beauty Courses and Face the World. Sarah wrote all our oncology courses, as well as tailored courses for spas, hotels and hospices. As well as teaching Sarah sees her own therapy clients, and has learned that a contraindication often means ‘extra care’ rather than ‘hands off’. Writing and teaching holistic therapy and natural beauty courses for people with cancer gives Sarah a wonderful opportunity to share her experiences, and encourage other therapists to offer treatments to help clients maintain their well-being during their medical care and afterwards, to aid relaxation and to give themselves some pampering.
